What do they eat in Sweden?

In Sweden, the typical cuisine is very particular but noy veary elaborated.
Swedish cuisine tends to be practical and sustaining but due to Sweden's large north-south extent there have been regional differences. Many traditional dishes employ simple, contrasting flavours; such as the traditional dish of hearty meatballs and gravy with tarty, pungent lingonberry jam (slightly similar in taste to cranberry sauce). Swedish cuisine can be distinguished from that of its neighbours in Norway and Finland, with the dishes often being more sweetened.

Activites for all the family

In Sweden there are many funny but also interesting activites for all the family, especially for children. These are for instance:

Pippy long stoking:

Pippi Longstocking (Swedish Pippi Långstrump) is a fictional character in a series of children's books about a girl who thinks ham is a bird and is by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, and adapted into multiple films and television series. Pippi was named by Lindgren's then nine-year-old daughter, Karin, who requested a get-well story from her mother one day when she was home sick from school. Lindgren loosely modeled the character's personality on Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables.[1]
Nine-year-old Pippi is unconventional, assertive and extraordinarily strong, being able to lift her horse one-handed without difficulty. She frequently mocks and dupes adults she encounters, an attitude likely to appeal to young readers; however, Pippi usually reserves her worst behavior for the most pompous and condescending of adults.

Stockholm becomes a fantasy destination for balloonists each summer, when they get to enjoy romantic sunset aerial cruises over the city. Stockholm's far northern latitude makes the summer days very long, extending twilight and allowing safe and spectacular night flying. With predictable summer air conditions and over twenty good landing sites in the city's environs, sunset ballooning is not only possible here—it is the custom. Ninety percent of the commercial balloon flights lift off at dusk. The evening light combines with the unique pleasure of gliding over the shimmering lights of the capital make this a balloon vacation to remember.
