The most famous SPORT in Sweden has always been ice hockey.
The Swedish Ice hockey team, Tre Kronor has won one gold medal in 1994, in the Olympics and they have six titles in the World Championships; in 1953, 1957, 1962, 1987, 1991 and 1992. The breoad base for recruitment lies in the many hockey-clubs all over the country. Every boy has on one occasion or another, tried to play Ice hockey.
During the years, Sweden has produced number of really good players. There are also different teams, male teams, and famale teams, who also play a good role in the sport society in Sweden.
But of course there are also other kinds of sports that are very important, like athletic, smimming, football(soccer)and martial arts.
